Personal BackgroundDoug has lived in Katonah NY and Essex CT for over 17 years with his wife, 2 children and chocolate lab. An active outdoorsman, Doug is familiar with all that Northern Westchester and the CT Shoreline has to offer both culturally as well as in nature. "Where else can you live within an hour or 2 of Boston/NYC and be able to ride miles and miles of horse trails as well as hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing, and sledding? The natural beauty here combined with museums, restaurants, concerts and top schools are what draw people." I bought my first investment property at 26 years old and pursued real estate for the next 25 years as an investor. I did this at the same time I owned and ran 2 NYC restaurants.
